My husband is really interested in the Droid mostly b/c it’s a google phone and he is big into anything google. Me, I’m happy with my inexpensive basica StraightTalk phone as I only pay $45 montly for unlmited use. Besides, I only use the phone to talk or text so the gadgets do not interest me at all.

You should be aware that this phone is NOT the Motorola Droid. Verizon’s phone is a severely limited version of this device, lacking several features including pinch-zoom.
The Telus Milestone is the same as the European model, not the American Droid.

I’m wondering where the milestone is missing the pinch to zoom feature. Having tested it in stores, it seemed to work fine in the browser (I know this isn’t the case with Verizon’s Droid). I’m uncertain about maps, or any other application that one might expect pinch to zoom.
