Is it Worth the Wait? HTC Incredible Review

Which Canadian carrier will bring this “Incredible” Android Cell Phone?
The latest Android cell phone, HTC Incredible, is packed with an incredible punch of features and widely speculated to be available in Canada in Q2. Nothing stopping it coming to TELUS or Bell as they both have a CDMA EVDO network which supports this device. Wind Mobile has expelled the rumour that they would be bringing this CDMA device confirming the phone is not compatible with their network. In the US, the cost of this device is a whopping $529.99 without a contract or $199.99 after a $100 mail-in rebate with a new two-year customer agreement. Mobilicity launches new service in Toronto

Mobilicity formerly Dave Wireless, whose name is the joining of “Mobility” and “Simplicity”, launched on Saturday, May 15, 2010 in Toronto. Mobilicity also has service in Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton and Ottawa. Now Canada has 3 new wireless companies joining Public Mobile and Wind Mobile. The wireless landscape is getting very competitive and interesting.
This is a review of Mobilicity and its offers.
No Unlimited Data for iPad in Canada

On May 28th Canada is finally getting the Apple iPad!
So you want an iPad? Well, pre-ordering has already begun, and many of you are going to be disappointed with what Rogers is offering. If you want an iPad you will have to subscribe for a different data plan, even if you have your own. To add to the confusion an advertisement on Apple made reference to a $20 shared data plan, meaning customers would have been able to share data from their existing account to their iPad. However within a day, the plan was removed from Apple’s site. It was later confirmed by a Rogers representative, that it was a mistake, that is ridiculous! Read the rest of this entry »
