Side by side comparison of the Apple iPad2, BlackBerry PlayBook & Motorola Xoom
Which tablet should I choose?
That’s the question that will become more and more common as the tablet industry kicks into high gear this year. We will try to help you answer that question with this blog post featuring a side-by-side comparison of the top three tablet computers to watch out for in 2011.
- The Apple iPad is the standard for tablet computers. With more than 17 million iPads sold to date and the iPad2 in Canada as of March 25 Apple has clearly set the pace.
- BlackBerry is still a giant in the smart phone space and the BlackBerry PlayBook, widely viewed as runner up of the CES 2011 Best of Tablet Award, is a highly anticipated tablet from RIM.
- The Motorola Xoom is the unknown kid on the block for many, but with its recent crowning at CES 2011 – Best of Show Award – and Android’s latest operating system optimized for tablets, this tablet will head up the Android attack this year.
As the market continues to evolve, we will make every effort to update this blog as more information becomes available.
