Is your cell phone really dangerous?
With the WHO recently declaring cell phones as “possibly carcinogenic” there has been renewed interest in the health risks associated with the technology. It is easy to agree that a reasonable level of caution is called for when addressing how elements of our lifestyle, like phones, affect our health.
But do cell phones cause cancer? The truth is that we don’t have a conclusive answer one way or the other.

Every now and again we see a news segment about the health risks of cell phones and at the end of each segment they mention how prominent groups like the FCC have not found any clear links between cell phones use and cancer or other potentially deadly health ailments. On the other hand, we hear from neurosurgeons and other scientists about the inherent risks associated with excessive cell phone use. Now let’s face it, we take these devices with us everywhere we go and almost any who uses a cell phone fall into the “excessive” bucket these days.
