Its official, the HTC Desire HD has been released in Canada on Bell and TELUS. The Desire HD the newest Android phone from the Desire Series, is considered the “big bother” to the widely popular HTC Desire and Desire Z Phones, also available in Canada. Big is no exaggeration as this Android phone comes with super 4.3 inch display screen; touch screen yes but, no pull out keyboard like Desire Z. The aluminum unibody construction makes the look and feel of this phone very appealing ,so much so, the slab like design is one of a kind. The Desire HD like its predecessors runs on Android OS 2.2 Froyo and has the latest version of HTC Sense (Sense UI) packed with a list of enhancements that will surely impress you.

HTC Desire HD Video Review
The HTC Evo didn’t make it to Canada but it’s refined cousin – The HTC Desire HD – better make it here. I have long said that while Apple got out of the blocks early in 2007 with the iPhone 3Gs and built themselves a sizable lead, the gap has narrowed significantly in 2010 and I would argue there is no lead. This device is flat out SICK. Yeah, I know the screen is freakishly big at 4.3 inches, but to use that one excuse as a reason to not consider this phone just wouldn’t be fair. So here is a video overview of just how awesome the HTC Desire HD really is.
