Everyone knows that BBM is the glue for RIM and BlackBerry at the moment. It’s the main reason that several of my friends stick with Blackberry, to communicate with friends and family around the world over BBM for FREE.  Well today, RIM announced a new add-on for BBM, called BBM Music.

So what is BBM Music?

As RIM put it, “BBM Music is a BBM-connected social music service that allows BlackBerry smartphone users to share and discover music through their BBM Music friends”.  The word missing from that description is “subscription” service.

So what will your $5 USD per month for BBM Music get you?
